Beemster Organic is prepared solely with pure organic cow’s milk, which contains many unsaturated fatty acids. And maybe most importantly: no artificial fragrances, colors and flavors are added by the cheese makers, which preserves the pure taste. Beemster Organic is a Dutch cheese that has been naturally matured for 8 weeks. The cheese contains 48% fat and therefore has a unique, pure and natural taste.
When producing Beemster Organic, cheese makers only make use of fully organic dairy. The natural taste originates from the blue sea clay of the Dutch Beemster Polder. Here, the cows are able to graze in the meadow for a longer time and ultimately provide the best milk. Beemster Organic is being produced from this milk. The cows eat grass, clovers and meadow flowers without any added chemical pesticides or fertilizers. The milk is therefore not only healthier, but also tastier.
Moreover, no artificial fragrances, color and/or flavors are added to this pure organic cheese. If you choose Beemster Organic, not only are you choosing a delicious pure taste but you also choose the environment. Beemster Organic is truly all natural, and you can really taste it!

Beemster cheese gets its name from Holland’s oldest polder the Beemster. Various species of grass grow in this area of reclaimed land and they give Beemster cheese a specific taste. The cheese is avaiVegetarisches Lab (mikrobiell)le in four different kinds, namely; young matured, matured, extra matured and old. All Beemster cheeses have a distinctive salty and creamy touch to their flavour. Traditionally, the cheese is used particularly as a sandwich topping, but it is just as enjoyable as a snack.
