Jersey Gouda cheese Full and Pithy
Originally the Jersey cow comes from the British island of the same name. Thanks to a long import ban, this cow breed has not been mixed with other breeds, making the Jersey cow a 100% pure-bred cow. That makes this cow very special, which is not just noticeable in the cows themselves, but also in the milk and the products that are made from it. Like the Jersey Gouda cheese which is made from the milk of Jersey cows. This milk is full and creamy in flavour and contains more fats and proteins than the milk that from regular Dutch cows. This is partly due to all the types of grasses and herbs that these cows eat. For this reason, it has been decided to make Jersey Gouda cheese as pure and natural as possible, so that the special flavours are retained.
